Rays of Hope, Inc., is a NJ based grassroots non-profit organization focused on developing future leaders through community service and advocacy with the charge of building a better tomorrow.  We provide youth with monthly leadership and advocacy training.  We select monthly community service projects that target marginalized groups such as feeding and clothing the homeless and literacy programs in low performing areas. We are looking to raise funds for college scholarships and supplies.

 

Graduating high school should be a time of celebration as it is one of the most important milestones in a teenagers life.  Due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, seniors may not experience a traditional graduation ceremony, prom, or end of year activities.  Additionally, we will not experience the Rays of Hope scholarship banquet celebration that they worked so hard for through their many hours and years of tireless dedication to serving the community.  

 

In June 2021, Rays of Hope would have hosted its third annual Leadership Achievement Awards Ceremony. This celebration would have honored  members of our organization who have demonstrated excellent leadership and community service.  Over the last 12 months, the seniors completed over 150 hours of community service.  This ceremony was the primary fundraiser helping Rays of Hope, Inc. fund much needed scholarships for our amazing service-minded advocates to help offset the rising costs of college tuition.  

 

During these unprecedented times, Rays of Hope continues to support their youth, especially the seniors.  Many families, including many of our own, have been financially impacted. We need your help! We are asking our friends and family for a tax deductible donation of $50, $100, $250, $500 or any amount that you can contribute to the scholarship fund.
